About AI Email Software
AI Email Software is a reference site about AI email writing assistants such as Lavender, MailMaestro (the product Flowrite became), Jasper and Copy.ai, and about the sending tools that deliver the email those assistants help you write.
The editor
Tessa Brightwell is a pen name for the site's editorial team.
The editor compares AI email tools by reading vendor pricing pages, product pages and help documentation, re-reads those pages when prices are re-checked, and captures screenshots of pricing pages on the date shown in each caption. That is the whole job description: no vendor accounts, no campaign results, and no claim of having used a tool.
We use a pen name because the work is a team effort and the name is a byline, not a biography. We do not attach credentials, employers or years of experience to it, because none of them would change whether a price on a vendor's page is correct. The monogram above is a typographic mark, not a photo.
What the site covers
- AI email writing assistants. Tools that draft, rewrite or coach email: the comparison on the homepage covers what each costs, where it runs (Gmail, Outlook, a separate app) and who it suits.
- Sending tools. The pricing index has one guide per email platform or sending API, written for people who draft with an AI assistant and then need somewhere to send from.
It does not go deep on the AI features built into marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo, and it does not cover cold-email sending infrastructure.
How the pages are written
The full method is on How we evaluate. In short: numbers come from the vendor's own page and carry a date; features are described the way the vendor's documentation describes them; a recommendation always has a written reason; and nothing on the site is a score, a rating or a test result.
Corrections and contact
If a price, a plan name or a feature description on a page no longer matches the vendor's page, tell us which page and which vendor URL shows the difference. We verify it against the vendor and correct the page in place, with the date updated.
