Which volume fits which vendor?

Under 10k sends/month

Sequenzy free (2,500) plus a transactional trial covers MVPs; Postmark $15/10k is the cleanest transactional-only bill; Mailgun Basic $15/10k suits API-first teams needing validations. SendGrid Essentials is viable once marketing journeys join transactional.

10k–50k sends/month

Sequenzy paid from $19 with pooled volume usually wins for SaaS lifecycle mixing campaigns and triggered mail. Mailgun Foundation ($35/50k) is the API-value pick. Postmark scales linearly at $1.80/1k — predictable but pricier than Foundation at the top of this band.

50k–150k sends/month

Mailgun Scale ($90/100k, $1.10 overages) and SendGrid Pro ($89.95+ with dedicated IP path) dominate. Sequenzy remains competitive when lifecycle attribution and billing triggers replace a second tool’s subscription.
